iCycle was delighted to host a Gravel Cycling Tour in Malawi during April/May 2025. A fantastic group of cyclists from Windhoek, Cape Town and Johannesburg joined us! Based on feed back from previous Tours a few things were changed including spending the first night at Kumbali Lodge on the outskirts of Lilongwe.

As always, the very friendly and warm welcome received from Malawians as we rode the scenic, smooth district gravel roads was a highlight of the Tour, Malawi living up to its wonderful slogan “The Warm Heart of Africa.”

Rest Days at Cape Maclear and Makakola Retreat were spent snorkeling and sailing in the clear waters of Lake Malawi.

Feedback from the Tour was excellent and we hope to continue to improve this tour making it a must do tour for any gravel rider! We hope to see you in Malawi in May 2026.
